Plunketts Creek Township River Rescue
On 7/17/21, PCTVFD, special unit 22, Micu 18, boat one and 39 were dispatched to a person stranded on an island at 800 Turkey Farm Road. Chief 1-25 arrived to find a person that camped on the island over night and became stranded due to rising water. During the rescue, units were dispatched to assist station 54 Hillsgrove fire department with two lost persons swept away in inner tubes. Everyone was found / no injuries.
